Carousel Motor Group, brought in Good Wins agency Preston Kelly, to help them introduce their new Coon Rapids Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership – and attempt to change the dealership advertising paradigm. Preston Kelly has created a world in which the cars themselves show off the swanky new dealership. Or rather, small radio-controlled (RC) cars, acting like a cross between frisky puppies and helpful robots take us on a rapid-fire tour.
Two :30 Spots, “Epic Tour” and “Service with a Smile,” screech, drift, jump and wheelie through the luxury aisles, service bays and waiting areas of what the salespeople lovingly refer to as their new Toy Box. In two :15 Spots, we see the Coon Rapids vehicle Personalization Studio with RC cars putting the tricks in “tricked out”, and a spot featuring the luxury Service Waiting area with a slow jamming tiny pickup truck delivering a hot latte. The campaign is also supported by Grand Opening event communications, online videos and ongoing social media.
The new tagline “Come out and play” is intended to feel like an invitation rather than a sales pitch. At Preston Kelly we constantly ask ourselves, “Will this work actually be welcome in people’s lives?” For Coon Rapids Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, we hope the answer will be “yes.”
