On Friday, June 27 at 11 a.m., Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak, with the help of a bagpiper, will lead a Preston Kelly troupe of costumed brand icons across the Hennepin Avenue Bridge to their new home in N.E. Minneapolis. The mayor is helping commemorate the ad agency’s move to Minneapolis and to celebrate Preston Kelly’s “Iconic Ideas” communications philosophy.

across the Hennepin Avenue Bridge to its new Minneapolis headquarters. Icons include:

• Taco John’s Whiplash the Monkey
• Roundy’s Chairman Bob
WHY: To commemorate the agency’s move to the historic Minneapolis Fire Barn building and to celebrate the agency’s “Iconic Ideas.”
